The Organisation
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (K.V.S) is an autonomous body under the union ministry of Human Resource Development. Since its inception in 1965 with 20 schools (established as K.V.S in 63-64), the organisation has grown phenomenally with a whopping number of 820 schools at present.
